About the Squires Home Owners Association

Welcome to the Squires Homeowners Association page!

Ours is a community developed by U.S. Homes in the late 1970’s.

It consists of 57 single family homes, ranch, two-story or tri-level style, each on approximately one acre of land and set in rolling terrain, accented with a large pond at Pheasant Trail and Mallard Court at Squires Park.

We are delighted to have you with us in this setting and look forward to having you join the many activities, hosted through our Squires Homeowners Association.

The Squires HOA was begun in 1980, with neighbors recognizing a need and desire to develop and sustain a community designed for safe, healthful and harmonious living, as well as to protect both collective and individual rights and interests of all persons owning property and residing in the Squires.

The Squires board representatives regularly meet with the Village Trustees of Deer Park in matters concerning improvements and maintenance of the subdivision.

Squires General meetings are held each March at the Vehe Barn. In this forum, members vote on matters of Squires community interests. Social gatherings are also planned throughout the year.

Annual member dues are $100 per household paid to the HOA to cover costs for maintenance and beautification of common areas, electricity for the entrance lights, and for special projects. Replacing the street signs and posts is a recent example of these special projects that required capital investment.

Expenses for social activities are shared by members who attend these functions (not by dues). The membership in the HOA is in the best interest of all residents of the Squires to participate, since every household shares equally in the maintenance, beautification, and upgrades from special projects.

We look forward to your participation in our active HOA!
